The annual convention, being organized by CIO Pakistan and Google Pakistan for the first time in the country, will be to discuss, recognize and platformize one of the the fastest growing online mediums in Pakistan, the blogging community. With almost more than 1 million local readers, for the 400 or so active local blogs, and growing every day this is a huge medium of exponential messaging. IDG and Google, two of the world’s most powerful brands who have supported this technology globally want to now bring the same recognition to the fast growing bloggers community in Pakistan.

Followed by a tri city roadshow, the activity will garner the support and nominations for the various blogs from these cities and surrounding areas, the first convention and annual meet will also be accompanied by the Annual Bloggers Awards following an international modus operandi.

Lets give an international voice to our desi blogs and help them shout out a better Brand Pakistan, which also be the theme of the first unconference.
