Okay, time to say something ‘meaningful’.

This blog’s one of the finest Mum blogs around. I’ve read quite a bit of em and I think Jammie takes the cake. Kudos and hope you win! xoxoxox!

Sara writes not just for mommies, but for all kinds of women. that is the beauty of her blog. She manages to capture your interest by being a bit like all of her readers (ok maybe not the men.haha).
She is the sister, the career woman, the mother, the wife, the emotional, the funny, the easily excitable, the nutty and possibly every other quality that makes us women what we are.
Thats why her blog is so popular. It breaks the stereotype of a woman being able to fulfill only one role at a time. A great feat considering we women in desi-land suffer the worst kind of stereotyping. she explains best what i as a reader feel when reading her blog.
“in a world like today where the need to see the normalities that exist in a troubled country become greater for other cultures to be able to treat them with tolerance and understanding…..n my own little way, I am putting out a positive spin on Pakistan because I know the way I see it is one they can too.”

    Jammiee—
you are a perfect example of how blogs allow people to connect with each other- your posts are simple yet insightful and they show the quirky side of mommyhood where someone like me too can enjoy it!

    keep writing-

Sara writes from her heart. A true woman who any mother can relate to. When I am sad, this is where I come. She makes me happy and sometimes voicing the most appropriate message, thought, expression. Many times I have felt her almost as if I have been in her shoes or rather she has written as if she were in mine.

Love, love love her blog :)

The blog to me is a story of growth, learning and life… The little details that are significant and are meaningful to a woman which are usually lost in the noise and chaos of every day obligations and commitments… Reading about them on Jammie’s blog allows me to go back and get a sense of them from my own world too!

oh wow- thanks so much you guys for the vote (literally even this time hahah!) i think maybe that why we rad and right to connect to be able to make sense on some other level with someone who mayb not have much in common with you, but could change the way you look at things. :)

the only blog that made single women (by choice!) want to change their status to engaged/married — pushed single mom’s (by protection!;)) into believing that they too could take the leap into the unknown and have a kid without having to change who they were/are or want to be.

sara jamil’s blog – unlike many others – is in simple words: real.

it’s not only easy to relate to her words and her day to day experiences as a designer-mom-wife-sister-citizen of this country — but it’s about the way she presents her ideas and thoughts that sometime convert an otherwise boring day into one where you’d want to make a difference – and sometimes all it takes is a positive attitude and a will to change.

needless to say, i look forward to her blogs on a daily basis. keep writing! :)

p.s. and she has one of the cutest humans living in her house! — nadir ofcors’ :)

so this blog is really an inspiration to every mom to be :D
not that one expects you to emulate all that it says – but that it gives a fresh perspective on the better side of “mom-hood” away from the cliched “oh you’ll have sleepless nights and blah blah” that typical people talk about :)

Boy, can this woman write!? I started reading her blog some 4 or so years ago – she has been a part of my morning routine ever since! She is the first blog I visit every morning! i love her thoughts, insight, the way she analyzes the smallest of things, the way she connects everyone to her in whatever role she chooses to write about – as a woman, mom, sister, wife etc, i love her creativity – and above all, her gora son – Baby N.

Lol, so the anti-spam word I was aked to type to prove that I am a person couldn’t be any better – triple dubloo. Isn’t this how all of us used to pronounce the letter W when we were kids?

You, of course don’t know me but I have been following your blog for atleast 6 months now if not longer. I went back and read all your past blogs as well and I think a few were linked on another blogsite too.

Severals times I had the temptation to comment on one of your very intellectual blogs but was never too sure. At times I wrote down something very meaningful (not) and erased it after but the fate of this comment is gonna be a little different lol. I just think that you’re an amazing writer. I am a freelance write myself and I really enjoy reading your perspective on life and sometimes try to look at mine from your eyes. Please don’t stop. I love getting a sneek peek in your life when mine is kinda boring. And seriously, your kid is mashAllah very cute.

I hopped onto this blog about 6 months back, and I check for updates almost every day. The one thing I absolutely love about her writing is her positivity – looking at ordinary things with a very fresh, very positive perspective – which is contagious!
